Co-management

Co-Management Co-management means “teamwork”. Your local Optometrist delivers primary eye care – annual examinations, prescription of glasses and contact lenses, and the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases. Local Optometrists diagnose eye disease, often before symptoms occur, and early detection may save the vision of those at risk.

Commonwealth Eye Surgery provides consultation for difficult cases, as well as, the following.
  • Cataract and Implant Surgery
  • Refractive Laser and Implant Surgery
  • Laser Surgery for “After-Cataracts” and Glaucoma
  • Consultations – Retina, Glaucoma, and Oculoplastics

Your local Optometrist can provide most, if not all, of your follow up care. Commonwealth Eye Surgery may also evaluate you at regular intervals. This coordinated effort ensures that you receive the highest quality care in the most convenient manner. Your travel time is kept to a minimum. This eye care system requires a high degree of communication and is why we are continually discussing your care with your local Optometrist. We are always available to see you or talk with you by telephone if you have any questions or concerns.
