Visian ICL

Younger individuals who are not candidates for LASIK/PRK have the option of the Visian Implantable Collamer® Lens, a prosthetic lens that is inserted inside the eye in front of the crystalline (natural) lens.  These lenses correct for both nearsightedness and astigmatism and do not compromise the patient’s ability to read, nor do they cause loss of contrast and or clarity.  This is the only refractive surgical procedure that is reversible.
