Dr. Ferguson and his staff were professional, efficient, and comforting for the duration of the procedure. I LOVE opening my eyes and SEEING clearly without the aid of my contacts or glasses. My only regret is that I didn't book sooner, thank you, Commonwealth Eye Surgery!

LASIK is one of the most popular forms of vision correction due to its accuracy, safety, quick recovery time, wide range of correction and minimal discomfort. Both eyes can be done the same day, and the entire procedure takes only a short time, needing no stitches or patches. In mere seconds, Dr. Ferguson and Dr. Wörtz can treat a lifetime of nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. Most cases typically take about 10 minutes per eye, but the bulk of that time is actually spent “prepping” the eye for surgery. Actual “laser time” ranges from 30 seconds to 1 ½ minutes.

Americans who are wearing corrective eyewear
Let’s face it, the cost of glasses, contacts, cleaners and solutions adds up over time. In fact, it can be downright expensive… not to mention inconvenient. The average person over their lifetime spends a small fortune on glasses and contacts. The reality is having LASIK now will be less expensive over time than wearing glasses and contacts.
