Congratulations to Dr. Patrick Mosler of the Commonwealth Eye Surgery cycling team, who won his age group and finished 3rd overall at the ‘Off-Road Assault on Mt. Mitchell’ Sunday, July 24th. Mt. Mitchell is the highest peak east of the Mississippi River, sitting at 6,684 feet. This mountain bike race covers a difficult 63 miles and racers also had to contend with extreme heat & humidity during this year’s event. Patrick finished in just over 5 hours and 5 minutes, only 16 minutes off the course record. Congratulations again, Patrick!
