On October 5th, Commonwealth Eyes took to the streets of Lexington to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research in the Susan B. Komen Race for a Cure 5k. Our Billing Manager, Susan Marnatti, came up with the idea to participate, along with a team from John’s Run/Walk Shop. Several Commonwealth Eyes team members took part in a 5K training program leading up to the Race Day.

“The response was beyond our expectations,” said Jenny Lackey, Practice Administrator. Nearly half of the employees committed to the program held strong until the day of the race. “It has really created a buzz among the staff as they plan their next after hours run and compare notes on their progress. We are really proud of our team!”
