You may have seen misleading LASIK ads firsthand that left you wondering what to believe in regards to having laser eye surgery. The U.S. health regulators have warned five eye care providers to stop misleading advertisements and promotion of refractive lasers used in eye surgery procedures such as Lasik.

The Food and Drug Administration found that their advertisements and promotional materials did not provide enough information about LASIK risks and possible side effects.
