I have known about Dr. Ferguson and Commonwealth Eye Surgery for several years now, but have not been able to utilize their services for financial reasons. I found out recently that my health insurance covers Lasik and PRK surgeries and was thrilled to realize that my husband and I could finally have our vision corrected surgically. I emailed the Commonwealth Eye Surgery office with several questions regarding my insurance coverage and out-of-pocket costs.

The staff member that replied to my emails was extremely helpful, going above and beyond to find the answers to my questions. We both had our surgeries last week and I can’t tell you how pleased we are!! My husband had Lasik and I had PRK. The day after the surgery he was seeing 20/15 and hasn’t had any problems at all! Because the healing time for PRK is different, my vision is not completely corrected, but I am seeing 20/30 (with some fluctuations), knowing that it should only get better from here!!
