February 29, 201210 Things Tuesday – 10 things you might not know about CES!
March 13, 2012So you’re already a candidate for Lasik eye surgery and you’re ready to take the next step, getting Lasik. Here’s a quick list of things you can do in preparation for your eye surgery when coming to Commonwealth Eye Surgery in Lexington.
• Order your educational DVD today.
• Coordinate with our billing department your plans for your invoices and if you qualify for our 0% financing for 24 months.
• Three days prior to your surgery, you are asked to only wear glasses and discontinue the use of soft contact lenses. If you wear “hard” contact lenses, you should discontinue usage three weeks prior. If it’s been a while since you’ve worn glasses, contact your optometrist to make sure you have the correct prescription!
• Ask a family member or friend to be your driver. Make sure you have figured out how long it will take to get you to and from our surgery center and that you have someone ready to drive you to and from your procedure.
At Commonwealth Eye Surgery we have developed a LASIK Support Group consisting of our patients who have undergone the procedure and are willing to discuss their experience with you from a patient’s perspective. They are not employees and receive no remuneration for their kind, voluntary efforts to educate patients and dispel unnecessary concerns. For information on this service, please click here.
