Commonwealth Eyes reflects on advancements in laser technology.
As we close out 2012, we’re taking a moment to reflect on all of the major changes to our LASIK program through the years and appreciate the people we have been able to help see the world through new eyes.
One of the most exciting developments in our practice was the addition of the Ziemer FEMTO LDV Femtosecond Laser, which allows us to treat LASIK candidates who have been told their corneas are too thin. It truly is an exciting time with the advancements in technology. As of today, Dr. Ferguson has performed over 71,000 total ophthalmic procedures, so there’s never been a better—or safer—time to learn more about LASIK. Through the years we’ve grown our LASIK support group, consisting of patients who have undergone the procedure and are willing to discuss their experience with from a patient’s perspective. It’s these patients and their stories that give us a reason to celebrate at this time of year.
We’re very blessed to be the doctor’s choice for Lasik eye surgery in Kentucky and look forward to giving clear vision to hundreds more in 2013. Will this be your year to experience the freedom of LASIK?
