FDA Cracks Down on LASIK Advertising
May 20, 2013Women’s Eye Health & You
June 10, 2013We’ve been blessed at Commonwealth Eye Surgery to be able to improve vision for thousands of patients so that they can enjoy a higher quality of life. But not everyone can afford eye surgery. As leaders in the community we feel it’s our responsibility to give back. In 2012 and in the first few months of 2013, our staff has worked over 400 hours at outside events for Ronald McDonald House, God’s Pantry and other well deserving charities like our Nurse Director, Karen Chile’s, surgical mission work in Guatemala last month.
CES has donated over $20,000 in LASIK treatments for our Heroes for LASIK & Free Christmas LASIK programs, ROTC student discounts and other charitable fundraisers. And we’ve provided $10,000 in Cataract Charity care for indigent patients who can’t afford the procedure and donated more than $20,000 to Lexington cycling.
